The porcelain veneers we design for your smile will complement your facial structure, skin tone, and features, creating the optimal smile for your face. You’ll be amazed by your new image!
When other dental options are not giving you the smile you want, consider porcelain veneers. Porcelain veneers are thin, semi-transparent coverings placed over the front part of your tooth. Porcelain veneers are durable and stain resistant, and Dr. Titensor can apply your veneers in a simple, comfortable process that takes just a few visits.
Porcelain veneers cannot only fix a chip here or a crack there on your tooth, but they also enhance your facial structure, skin tone, and facial features. If you want a positive smile that portrays confidence to others, then, ask Dr. Titensor if porcelain veneers are right for you. Porcelain veneers camouflage the following dental concerns:
Porcelain veneers offer the most durable, long-lasting, and optimal cosmetic option for your smile enhancement. When you practice good dental care – regular dental checkups and brushing and flossing at home – porcelain veneers last a lifetime. However, note the immediate benefits of porcelain veneers.
Porcelain veneers are very thin shells made of durable and strong dental ceramic. The staff at Titensor Dental removes a small amount of enamel from the sides and front of your tooth to make room for the veneer. By removing the enamel, Dr. Titensor prevents the restored tooth from looking or feeling bulky.
Dr. Titensor or his hygienists next make an impression of your prepared tooth so that the dental laboratory can replicate the shape of your tooth and surrounding teeth. Dr. Titensor also chooses the proper color to fit the surrounding teeth for as natural a look as possible. Next, the office sends the specifications to a dental lab where they create the veneers to fit your teeth. The process usually takes one to two weeks.
When you return to Titensor Dental, Dr. Titensor places the veneers on your prepared teeth to check the shape and fit. After proper adjustments, the teeth are cleaned and the porcelain ceramic veneers are bonded to the teeth with strong dental cement. Any further adjustments may be completed at a follow-up appointment.
